A mod can go anywhere from 3 days (If it's really low quality) to multiple years (if it's high quality and scratch made), it mostly depends if the 3d model is downloaded from somewhere or if you made it yourself, and whether you have other people helping you or not, and whether or not that the jbeam is scratch made or based on another car.įor example, I have been working on a Moskvich 407 mod, I downloaded the 3d model from a site, I then found a jbeam that seemed to fit it okay and I put it on the jbeam and got it's textures applied onto it using a materials.cs file, then I separated parts (the suspension, pedals, and steering wheel) from the body and made them move in the game, I then edited the jbeam to fit better, and then I made some custom sounds for it using an video, and yet I still cant get the steering wheel to spin right because the 3d model has it angled.
